Senator Bill Bradley is a Managing Director of Allen & Company L LC. From 2001 - 2004, he acted as chief outside advisor to McKinsey & Company's nonprofit practice. He was a Senior Advisor and Vice Chairman of the International Council of JP Morgan & Co., Inc. from 1997 - 1999. During that time, he also worked as an essayist for CBS evening news and as a visiting professor at Stanford University, Notre Dame University and the University of Maryland. Senator Bradley served in the U.S. Senate from 1979 - 1997 representing the state of New Jersey. In 2000, he was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Prior to serving in the Senate, he was an Olympic gold medalist in 1964 and a professional basketball player with the New York Knicks from 1967 - 1977, during which time they won two NBA championships. He has authored five books on American politics, culture and economy. Senator Bradley holds a B.A. degree in American History from Princeton University and an M.A. degree from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.

Gerald Cohn is an entrepreneur who founded several companies in diverse fields, including precious metals refining, appliance manufacturing and ferrous and non-ferrous metals recycling. After these companies were built and sold, Mr. Cohn became a private investor with an emphasis on investing in Biotech. Affymax, Affymetrix, Maxygen and Symyx Technologies are a few of the companies in which Mr. Cohn made early investments. He also was one of the founders of Bay City Capital and Frazier & Co., two successful life science venture capital funds.

Carin Rollins was a Founder and Principal of 5AM Ventures and played a role in starting Ambrx, KaloBios, Marcadia and WaveRx, among other companies. Prior to 5AM, Mrs. Rollins was an Investment Manager at Bay City Capital, where she was involved with the firm's early-stage investments. She was previously an Associate with Booz-Allen & Hamilton in the pharmaceuticals group and a Biotechnology Equity Research Associate at Robertson Stephens & Company. Mrs. Rollins holds a B.S. in Biology from Colgate University, where she graduated with honors, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Jean-Philippe Tripet is Managing Partner and Founder of Aravis Ventures. Mr. Tripet has over 15 years of experience as portfolio manager and financial analyst. He has a degree in business administration from the University of Geneva, performed graduate studies in San Diego, California and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. In 1994, he co-founded the Lombard Odier Immunology fund that became one of the most successful healthcare funds in Europe under his supervision. He has supervised over 90 investments in private companies. Since 1994, Mr. Tripet has participated actively in launching and financing many successful start-up companies such as Modex, NovImmune, Cytos, Genedata, Esbatech and Novalon. He is on the Boards of Directors of Evolva, MerLion and Omeros and is Vice-Chairman of Symetis and Telormedix.

Philip Yeo is the Special Advisor for Singapore Economic Development, Senior Advisor for Science and Technology (Ministry of Trade & Industry) and Chairman of the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING). He was the Chairman of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR, formerly the National Science & Technology Board) from 2001 -2007. Mr. Yeo was formerly the Chairman of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EBD) from 1986 - 2001 and Co-Chairman of the EDB from 2001- 2006. He has received numerous honors and awards including France's Ordre National du Mérite, Indonesia's Bintang Jasa Utama, Asia Pacific IPA Awards, the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine from Sweden's Karolinska Institutet, Harvard Business School's Alumni Achievement Award, an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Imperial College London and was conferred the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star from the Japanese Government. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Industrial Engineering) degree and a doctorate in Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada, Master of Science (Systems Engineering) from the then University of Singapore, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
